Yorkshire Music Education Service (YMES) offers music lessons and classes in schools and community music centre settings across Yorkshire.

Our expert, professional music teachers provide tuition on a wide range of musical instruments which include: violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, recorder, cornet, trumpet, trombone, french horn, tenor horn, baritone, euphonium, tuba, percussion, drum kit, timpani, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, classical guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, singing, voice, soprano, alto, tenor, bass, piano, keyboard.

In styles such as: classical, jazz, pop, rock, folk

Our ensembles include: orchestra, concert band, jazz band, rock band, pop band, choir.

We also offer: pre-school music, theory lessons, aural lessons, composition, accompaniment, workshops, concerts, music clubs, holiday courses.

We can provide: support for GCSE, A Level, ABRSM, Rockschool, and Trinity examinations, guidance for auditions, and/or an enjoyable environment for those who wish to learn for fun.
