Lessons are structured in a way that helps students understand some of the most complex ideas within guitar playing such as modal theory, sight reading and soloing. Teaching has become a major part of my career with teaching many students a week and also teaching in junior schools in Northamptonshire and occasionally teaching at special needs and general groups.
ABOUT ME:
I have a BA Hons Degree in Music from De Monfort University, top Music A-levels. I also have a lot of gigging experience with various bands over the 11 years, Currently perform solo as an acoustic guitar and vocal covers at functions and weddings.
STUDENTS:
I can take students through the grades on acoustic, bass, classical and electric guitar. If students aren't interested in exams I can tailor lessons to fit the students musical ambitions. I am a patient teacher and really care about the development of my students.
STYLES:
I teach a range of styles for acoustic, electric, banjo, ukulele and classical guitar, including; Rock, Blues, Jazz, Folk, Country, Funk, Soul, R & B and Pop etc. You get the idea.
WHO:
All ages from beginners to advanced welcome! I have taught from ages 6 to 60!
WHERE:
I am based in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
