It's the spring and the ideal time now to feel refreshed, revitalised and relaxed. In this 5 session course you will learn techniques that you can use as part of your life enhancing skills.

This introductory course combines learning and practising Meditation with Tai chi chi kung. All physical abilities and ages are welcome as we adapt according to your requirements.

Meditation is a wonderful mind calming and relaxing process, it is a skill for life and can be practised almost anywhere, at any time with no equipment, just yourself.

Tai Chi Chi Kung (also spelt tai chi ki or qigong), pronounced like tie, chee, 'gong or kung' like blending g and k and gong musical instrument). Originates from Chinese healthful exercise and is practised by millions all over the world, the form we learn has 18 movements which provides flexibilty, balance, posture, light aerobic and strengthening for the whole body inside and out.

Linzi is an experienced teacher, writer, blogger and presenter.
She has worked with those in the performing and creative fields.
If you prefer a more individual learning experience She is available for 1 to 1 teaching.

Terms: Payment for the whole course is required before a place can be guaranteed, this can be by cash or online bank payment, no reduction if join after first session or for missed sessions.

We thought "I want to write but I can never find time to do so", so we've set aside a few hours each week at a local refreshment establishment to write. Normally on a Wednesday night but may differ.

A short instructional style and lighthearted look at how we can start the day with practising some easy stretches and self massage, to refresh the body and mind. All this without even leaving the comfort of our bed.

Linzi, of FeelGoodZone.com explains and demonstrates some whole body stretches, a 'kiss my feet' exercise, then moves onto toning up 'abs', the abdominals. Using a bent knees position Linzi works on loosening the lower back muscles before moving onto hand massaging. This is in preparation for some easy to do facial and head massage. The film concludes with some advice on what Linzi drinks to refresh the brain ready for the day ahead.

Tai Qi Chi Gong or Tai Chi Qi Gong

If you've decided to try something new, get a little fitter, know you need to de-stress, lower your anxiety levels and maintain a good level of health then this is for you.

This easy to learn but highly effective holistic form of exercise is based on ancient chinese principles of traditional chinese medicine – meridian energy lines, yin and yang, acupuncture points and the ebb and flow of what is know as ‘chi’ or life force energy. It is a well known exercise form done within business, hospitals, schools and privately.

Tai Qi Chi Gong is known for it’s beneficial effects on the emotions and physical body, namely:

It uses a specific breathing technique, light stretches and beautifully flowing movements of a low aerobic nature. It complements other forms of exercise and is suitable for wheelchair/seated participants. Tai Qi Chi Gong is found worldwide in businesses, hospitals, schools and other organisations.

This free class will guide you through some of the simple movements coordinated with breathing and calming visualisation relaxation. Come along wearing layers of clothing to allow for weather variations and flat shoes.

Linzi is available for private classes and teaches locally for 2 educational organisations.
