This How-to Guide offers practical advice for any U3A branch and/or University that wants to work in partnership for mutual benefit - with U3A members gaining access to the wonderful range of teaching, research, learning and facilties at their local University, and University academics gaining access to a group of receptive and enquiring older adults who they can involve in research bids and fieldwork, use to gain experience of presenting their work to a wider audience, and who will widen the demographics of the student base for lectures and seminars. Find out what is involved in setting up such as scheme, from how to make contact with your potential partner, to setting up different activities and what it might cost.
