This dvd was produced by driving instructor Gerry Brennan of Glasgow. "I thought that there was a need for a good tutorial video for learner drivers to supplement formal tuition" Learners can use this dvd between lessons to reinforce their existing knowledge. Parents can use it when taking out members of the family on driving lessons. Instructors can use the relevant footage it to brief pupils on lesson objectives. The video uses live in car and external footage linked with the instructors voiceover to explain how to : use road signs to plan the correct approach to junctions, anticipate the actions of other drivers, dual carriageway skills at higher speeds (joining and leaving), all reverse exercises, emergency stop, hill starts, moving off from the kerb and use of signals, roundabout procedure and how to judge speed and position of following traffic correctly using the rear view mirrors.
