I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in June 2006 and after a successful stem cell transplant (courtesy of my younger brother) I have reached the stage of remission. I am writing a book about this experience because it is not only a cathartic and therapeutic experience to do so, but I'd like to help other people who are perhaps going through a similar situation to myself. There was a dearth of literature to read when I was diagnosed and I floundered from time to time not knowing what was going to happen to me. I have a website on cats based on my own feline family and through the prayers of my subscribers, I feel that God has blessed me with this healing in order to make something of myself. This is where Alun has helped me in so many ways - I am good at writing, but like all writers, I feel that I'm not! And he has helped me to see that I do have a wonderful gift and it needs to be shared so that others can benefit from my experiences as well.

Looking for: networking and interesting things.
