Nikki Franklin

Stage name is Zehara who is a flamboyant and distinctive dancer and teacher is based in the North West of England. She is founder of a unique Tribal Belly dance group which she has developed with her partner Jan with an emphasis on whole body movement. The "Urban Gypsies" group are a colourful vibrant bunch and bring energy and fun to their performances . Zehara is a full time professional dancer and teacher for over 15 years and her dance style is celebratory, joyous and has strong African overtones.

Runs 6 classes a week in Stockport and West Didsbury, Manchester.

Using the whole body in a very integrated way with Large exuberant movement with natural grace, elegance and earthy power. Zehara's Fusion inspired from folk dances, Gypsy, Brazilian carnival dancing, Turkish and North African is a great energetic mix.
