    Free Resources for ELT/ESOL Teachers

If you are teaching English, this website has a wide range of free resources to help you.

Look out for the special area for teachers (strangely enough, titled 'For Teachers'!)

I run the department that produces the website, so I could be biased.... but all feedback, criticism, and suggestions are gratefully received; although our resources are limited we would like to make it more useful for you..

    online courses and blended learning

Has anyone out there taken blended learning courses?

As I understand them, they're partly online/distance and partly in person/telephone. How effective have people found them? I wonder aloud here because this site (linked) has a number of blended learning plus online learning opportunities (http://www.findcourses.co.uk/languages_e_learning___550__59.html).

What questions do you normally need answered when talking to course providers?

    Thanks,
    John

    question on online courses

Saw this group are listing UK & US English as different whole courses. I clicked through to the provider's website and saw they even have Irish.

    2 questions then:
    1. Is it usual for Business UK & Business US English to be treated as different courses and what do they do differently.
    2. With the Irish language - do they usually mean Gaelic or do we Irish qualify for a new version of English ;-)

    Cheers,
    JohnO
