Adam Trisk BA (Hons) Jazz

Hi, My name is Adam, and I am a professional drummer, having studied at music college for three years. I have years of experience performing in a wide variety of musical situations, such as orchestra pits, classical orchestras/wind bands, covers/function bands, jazz groups and singer/song-writers to name a few.

I am also a multi-instrumentalist, and because of that, I have the added understanding of how drums fit in with the rest of the instruments in any band situation. My lessons are very much focussed on this, and helping you gain an understanding of how to develop as a great musician as well as a great drummer.

Whether you are a complete beginner or a more advanced player, together we will come up with a plan to help you achieve your goals, whether you want to work on grades, sight-reading and interpretation, technique, groove playing, ensemble playing, improvisation or transcribing.
