Student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, I would like to offer my services to everyone who wishes to learn the wonderful insights of piano playing and also to become more aware of the technical parts of music, such as musical theory.

I started playing the piano at the age of 4 in my hometown in Romania, and since then I have won many national and international competitions, I have attended masterclasses, summer courses and private lessons, all of these helping me to reach a level which has allowed me to be accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy of Music, widely known as one of the best in this domein, in the world.

I have gained invaluable experience regarding teaching and performing, and I can give my knowledge to those who are keen to step into this magnificent world of music playing.

I am focused in teaching mostly classical music, but I do not step away from jazz or more accesible music. I will teach music theory sistematically, beginning from the level where the student curently is.
I will focus my piano teaching on the growth of musicality and interpretative awareness, which will be combined with the technical development.
I also offer my services as an accompanist, with good sigh-reading skills.

I am looking for students/pupils who want to travel to the Royal Academy of Music, in order to be taught,as the quality of the pianos are higher, and the musical environment is very inspiring.

Educational history

September, 2009
Royal Academy of Music
I finished the College of Music in Romania with honours, and after that I was given a place to study in the Royal Academy of Music. I have also attented the Pro College of Music in Bucharest, while I was in highschool.

Aimed at: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

Lesson take place each week, in the International Students House, which is right behind the Royal Academy of Music or, if they live relatively near to this institution, I can come to their homes. The reason why I am asking for this is the amount of time I want to save on travelling and focus it on teaching the student.

Teaching starts on 07.09 and ends on 30.06 .

Payment will be made in cash, at every class.

Students have to understand that I am a concert pianist, and that sometimes I might have to travel for recitals or performances. If I have to cancel a lesson, a £5 discount will be applied.

In case of any cancellation, the student must let me know at least 2 days in advance.

The student is obliged to put into daily practise everything I teach him/her, so that the improvement can be rapidly seen. This means that he/she has to have access to a piano or an electrical piano-like instrument.
