I am a self-employed music teacher and have been since I was fifteen, tutoring all ages in saxophone and clarinet. I have played with other professional musicians at functions, since the age of sixteen and been highly involved with various county run youth music ensembles, playing, arranging music and conducting.
From a very early age I have been particularly interested in playing music. I play various woodwind instruments, principally saxophone. I have been playing with professional musicians in the fields of classical/jazz for over seven years, both local players and musicians of international recognition.

I have won several awards for playing including a scholarship for the Guildhall School of Music in 2004 from a performance at the National Festival of Music for Youth. I have also played in front of large audiences, up to 2000 people. I am beyond Grade 8 standard on both saxophone and clarinet.

In June 2008 I graduated from the University of Sheffield, achieving a 1st class degree.

I teach individuals and also run workshops on improvisation for groups.
