The Alexander Technique is an internationally renowned self-care method that teaches individuals how to use the body efficiently, easily and gracefully – as it was meant to be used. It helps you become aware of and change movement patterns in your body that create unnecessary and often long-standing pain and discomfort.

The Swedish-Italian technique of singing provides the best of both worlds - the easy, resonant production of the Italian technique and the rounded, open warmth of tone gained from the Swedish embouchure.

Voice lessons focus on developing the following:

Breathing for singing
Good use of the body (posture)
Open throat
Released jaw and tongue
Front and back resonance
Healthy vocal cord use
Flexible and easy vocal production
Musicianship and language skills

Two proponents of Swedish-Italian technique were world-class opera singers Kirsten Flagstad and Jussi Boerling, who were known for their effortless-sounding vocal production.
