I am a poet, writer and an adult education tutor; my twenty two years experience includes teaching courses in Starting to Write and Writing for Self Discovery at Birkbeck College and Mary Ward Centre.

I offer small group courses locally in Rotherhithe,(usually at the Brunel museum)plus workshops, one to one tuition and mentoring for new creative writing tutors.

Having undertaken my own personal development work, particularly in Psychosynthesis, my main professional interest is in writing as an aid to personal growth, and the cross-fertilisation between this process and the production of artistically powerful work.

I studied Creative Writing and Personal Development at Sussex University and completed an MA in Creative Writing, the Arts and Education (poetry and short fiction) in 2000. My poetry and short fiction has been published in several anthologies. I am an active member of LAPIDUS (Literary Arts in Personal Development) and NAWE (National Association of Writers in Education)
