Red Hat Certified Engineer Instructor/Examiner
As an associate instructor I taught dozens of RHCE track classes between 2000 & 2004 for Red Hat in Guildford. The feedbacks I received were all good.
I have around 20 years experience in the IT business in a variety of roles including programming in a number of languages, designing IT and communications systems, physical installation of networking and computer equipment, training in bot specific applications and more abstract principles and a number of different support roles.
Between 2000 and 2002 I was the main instructor examiner used by Red Hat Guildford for their advanced Linux Systems Administrator courses and the RHCE exam.
I folded the company I had been running "The Anvil Organisation Ltd." in June '08 as the business model proved to be a bad match with these recessionary times, but am now operating on a freelance basis.
The most likely training customer at the moment will be a small organisation that has sufficient IT resources to require a specific IT group, but now finds that they can't release those people to go to formal training courses as this would mean a significant hole in their IT cover for the duration. I would be able to come to site and train them on their own equipment, about the actual applications and systems that they are using, while at the same time advise on how to improve the system reliability and efficiency.
