Hello, my name is Barrie Owen and I have been a successful self employed Drum Teacher for approximately 20 years working from my home studio in the beautiful area of Rivington, Lancashire.
Over the last 10 years I have been the appointed area representative for the Trinity College Drum
Examinations, helping candidates through there Exams
and attaining exemplary results for our own students.
My own qualifications are a total of 25 Graded certificates which include-- Drum Kit 10 Certificates-- Snare Drum 10 Certificates-- Music Theory 5 Certificates with 18 achieving Distinction.
Lessons are given on a one to one basis in our studio
which is fully equipped with two full Drum Kits, Stereo System, Keyboards and computers for playing Music videos. Our main goal is to impart as much knowledge as possible in a friendly and relaxed environment playing all styles of music be it graded studies or preparation to join a band, or simply playing for personal enjoyment.
