Teaching saxophone to beginners as a mobile tutor, offering saxophone and also jazz vocal tuition within the comfort of the pupils' home. Aimed at adults with busy life schedules, and children taking their first jazz grades, teaching for fun and for future development.
Offer workshops to advanced learners, giving them the opportunity to play at jazz jam sessions. Learning the art of improvisation, whether on vocal, saxophone or other instruments.
Also offer a rental and purchase service for saxophone beginners, to try before you buy!
I work as a musician, songwriter/composer, and vocalist on various styles of music but mostly jazz, blues and swing music. I believe that learning an instrument isn't about grades but about learning to be creative, finding your voice and expressing your personality through your playing.
