Catherine Hurley

I studied Music at the Purcell school and then at Bath Spa University, specialising in Performance and studying Composition. I have Grade 8 flute and Grade 6 paino and play piccolo. After training classically i have branched out into different styles of music including folk, jazz and world music, using improvisation and extended techniques together with writing and arranging my own music. I teach flute in the local area and at most recently the flute/fife teacher at Combe Down primary Schol in Bath. I am an active performer playing with different musicians with many styles and genres of music.
