I have 20 years' experience of teaching in UK schools across the 9-18 age range (including as Head of Languages in a local High School and in mainstream and independent specialist settings), with extensive experience of teaching students with autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
I also hold a Masters degree in Translation.
In addition to foreign languages, I also tutor English / Literacy, have studied TESOL and taught English as a foreign language in France and China, and have taught English Language and Literature up to GCSE level.
I have taught a range of other subjects across Key Stages 2-4, including both Maths and Science to GCSE level, and can offer homework support for all subjects across Key Stage 2-3.
I also enjoy playing the piano, flute and recorder. I offer beginners' level music tuition for these instruments and music theory.
