I am currently working as a freelance visual art workshop leader and stage designer.

I have led workshops in mask making, puppetry, animation, costume and set-design for children from nursery to high school tailoring each workshop according to the needs of the age group.

I design and deliver stage design, mask and puppetry workshops starting from simple texts, objects or images. I am also very keen on leading workshops based on a specific script. Main objective of each workshop is to meet the interests and imagination of the group, motivate participation and engage each part of the group with the process of the making.

My work with homeless and ex-homeless people has engendered respect and understanding of diverse social groups and has enhanced my interest in working for the community.

My studies include an MA degree in Scenography from St Martin’s College of Art and Design and a BA in stage design and theatre studies (Drama department, School of Fine Arts, Thessaloniki, Greece) where I have attended courses on children’s psychology and workshops on drama facilitating. Finally, I have full-time training in puppet making and animating (Union International de la Marionette, Athens, Greece)

I am CRB checked and have adequate public liability cover for art workshops.
