The Music Development was established in September 2005 and has continued to offer the local community a wide range of musical projects to aid musical education. We offer professional music tuition on all instruments, music theory and many opportunities for young musicians to perform.
The Swing Band offers music students the opportunity to perform on their 1st study instrument in a professional environment. The use of professional scores and equipment delivers a professional sound with the ability to showcase students individually.We perform regularly throughout the year and appear annually at the Southport International Jazz Festival and Southport Flower Show. We are also available for private parties.
Music Theory Lessons
Our Theory Class is an hour long where students learn and understand musical Theory basics to advance techniques. We specialize in ABRSM Graded Exams, which credit students with extra UCAS points. We have a 100% pass rate with most of our students achieving a merit or distinction.
