I am an experienced guitar tutor offering lessons from £25 an hour from my premises on Buttermere Close (close to Raynes Park, Morden, Wimbledon etc).
Many different styles accommodated for
=========================
From complete beginners to more advanced playing, the style of learning is completely up to you – many of my pupils choose the rock/pop route, but classical, folk, blues styles can all be taught. I also have experience with a variety of ages (CRB checked - please ask to see this if required) – my youngest right now is 6 and my eldest is, in her own words, "a groovy granny"...
Experienced with tuition - not just guitar playing
==============================
So many musicians I know have an amazing technical knowledge of the instrument, but really struggle communicating this. I have been teaching music full time for nearly four years now - and I can plan and execute lessons perfectly matched to the goals that you wish to aim for...
Goals, Grades & that sense of achievement
==========================
I am an RGT registered tutor who can guide you through the various grade examinations that RGT offer in acoustic, classical, electric or jazz guitar (accredited by Thames Valley University). It is often a good idea to have a goal to work towards - whether this might be taking a grade examination, songwriting development or wanting to play with other people. I have a professional-standard home studio that we can use to record a particular piece that we might feel has helped achieved your goal.
