Hi

I'm an Ex-Guitar Institute instructor providing 1 to 1 tuition for Guitar and Bass in a friendly comfortable purpose studio in the picturesque surroundings of Ealing Common, West London.
Excellent tube access via District, Piccadilly and Central lines, all just a 5 minutes walk away. There is also ample parking out front should you choose to drive here. There also a very good bus route as well!

Levels catered for?

Complete beginners upwards,

Children and adults, all styles all capabilities.
Nylon string, Electric and steel strung acoustic.

You don't even need to have your own guitar as one can be supplied for the lessons.

When I was a tutor at The Guitar Institute I wrote their Core 1 Beginner's course,
I've taken this and revamped it so it is more suited for 1 to 1 lessons. It now covers all the important areas required to get you up and running as quickly as possible whilst learn songs along the way, each week builds upon what you learnt last week to give a complete and steady learning progression, helping you to understand what it is you are doing.
A practice log with audio files to play along is also supplied each week to make sure you are practicing the right things and to help with your development.

If you thinking about learning guitar but don't know where to start and don't have a guitar yet but would like some advice on what guitar would be best suited for you and your needs, just give me a call. We can discuss your requirements and what you wish to achieve on the guitar to find out what type of guitar would suit you best.
It would be wrong to say all beginners should start on a nylon string for instance! It really depends on the individual players needs and the style YOU want to play.
There is a minefield of budget guitar makes out there and some a lot better than others!

Whether you just want to strum your favorite pop songs on your acoustic guitar for you own pleasure or for a sing along with some friends,
you want guitar lessons for your child and you'd like them to learn some music theory and structure along the way, maybe even take their grades.
Or you want to Rockout and get your technique together, all are catered for.

All lessons are structured around each individual student, therefore there are no materials or books for you to buy (there is no pressure selling of "Hey by the way here's my new super duper book and cd for you to buy", as some teachers do) all the materials you need are provided as part of the lesson, even a guitar can be supplied if required.
If you have favorite songs you want to learn, just say so, I'll get a copy of the song transcribe it for you and we can work on it in a lesson. I find you learn more quickly playing things you know and like rather than boring things you've never heard of.

A guitar can be provided for the lesson so it is easy to come straight from work, you don't need to bring yours.

Teaching Times.

Week days, Weekday evenings till 9pm and weekends.

FREE COMPUTER SOFTWARE that will help you get your playing together, once your lessons have commenced. Retails at over £100.
