Nzinga Dance is a London based African arts performance and education organisation.

Nzinga Dance bring the rich history, culture and traditions of Africa and the Caribbean to life via the presentation, celebration and education of African cultural dance and music, and modern African Dance styles

Dance workshops are available in African cultural, Caribbean cultural, Afrobeats & Hip-Life, Kuduro, Afro-Salsa, Samba, Soca/Calypso. We also host African Drumming workshops, and Arts & Crafts sessions

One-One dance and music lessons also available.

Performances are available for arts, festival and community events, corporate and launch events, large or small, indoor or outdoor.
Performances are vibrant and authentic. Nzinga Dance perform in traditional costume using traditional drums and accompanying instruments.

Workshops and residences are hosted for schools, colleges and other educational establishments, libraries and museums, arts and community organisations/venues, launch and corporate events.

Nzinga Dance work with Under 5's, through to adults. SEN workshops can be hosted, also family workshops, Elders' workshops, Teambuilding, Drumming For Mindfulness workshops.

All Nzinga members have extensive performance and tuition experience gained in the UK, Africa, Caribbean, USA

Horniman Museum

Nzinga Dance were in residence at the Horniman Museum from 2002-2014 providing African cultural dance and music performances for arts launch and community events, also hosting 3x10 week African and African Caribbean Dance and Drumming Courses for adults, and children aged 5-10, each year
