I'm Derek Hasted MA (Cantab) DipABRSM.
I'm a qualified guitar teacher; I'm Enhanced CRB checked.

I have over 35 years' experience in teaching and performing, and I'm a member of several professional bodies. I have over 300 pieces of music in print; I have been commissioned to write pieces for Associated Board and the European Guitar Teachers' Association. I teach one-to-one and group lessons.

I am a full-time guitar teacher and I bring a relaxed and patient approach to all my lessons. I don't teach off the cuff, I prepare every lesson to suit you, and the pace at which you want to learn.

My lessons are charged at the Incorporated Society of Musicians rates, and I offer a worthwhile discount to those who prepay for a whole term.

My evening lessons are often pretty much fully booked, so I particularly welcome senior citizens and those on flexitime or shift patterns who want day-time lessons.
