Devhan's School of Ballet is an family orientated school offering Ballet and Modern lessons to clients throughout the local area. The school provides the best education possible, whilst encouraging students to express and enjoy themselves in Dance. The school, which is based in Hengoed, was established in 2009 and the teacher has many years' experience in the dancing sector.

The school offers Pre- School Baby Ballet Classes for children aged 2 & 3 years and also Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet lessons and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Modern lessons, for boys and girls, ages 4 and Up. We now offer Adult Ballet Classes. Devhan's School of Ballet has many different classes to suit different levels or needs and all classes are taught by a qualified, professional and knowledgeable teacher.

Whilst being enrolled at the school students can choose to work towards examinations, while continuing their education and building confidence and self-esteem.

Dance encourages creativity and use of imagination, helps with balance, strengthening, flexibility and co-ordination. Children are able to interact with others in their community to improve their social skills and learning valuable life skills.

Devhan's School of Ballet has recently been successfully awarded an amount by UnLtd Sport Relief to be able to offer the communities of South Wales a dance project whereby children, young adults and adults can meet in classes to gain confidence and boost self-esteem whilst learning new skills that can be used in everyday life.

Classes are held at Hengoed Community Centre and Maesycwmmer Community Centre as well as various After-School Clubs.
