I am a tutor of Religious Studies and Classics (Latin, Greek and Classical Civilisation) who is well qualified in these subject areas. I have a First Class Honours degree in Divinity, a Master's in Editing Ancient Texts and a PhD in Byzantine Greek manuscripts.

I have teaching experience in the private education sector (including Heathfield School, Ascot and St. Leonards-Mayfield School). I have been both a teacher of Classics and Religious Studies teaching from KS3 to Sixth Form and in a 2012 ISI inspection report I was identified as an excellent Latin teacher with outstanding skills in IT. I have also led a number of demonstration Latin lessons in some of London's top Prep schools (e.g. Westminster Cathedral School) and have a lot of experience assessing 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance Exam Papers. I have also lectured at the university level in Theology and Religion concentrating on Judaism and Biblical Studies. In terms of tutoring I have most recently worked with students taking GCSE Religious Studies, A-level Religious Studies and GCSE Latin.

As a school teacher I am familiar with the exam specifications on offer and have an insight to how students can best perform in the public examinations. I have also expertise in the following subjects: Greek Palaeography, Codicology and Byzantine Liturgy. I regularly publish in my field of expertise for example I have an article in the next edition (2014) of the Journal of Theological Studies (Oxford University Press) on a recently rediscovered Byzantine manuscript.

Outside of teaching and tutoring I enjoy cooking, baking, hiking, entrepreneurship, current affairs and environment issues.
