Fernando S.

My name is Fernando and I am originally from Argentina. I have been living in the UK, mostly in Hackney, for the past ten years.

I hold a BA (Hons) History of Art from Goldsmiths College and a Masters Degree in Iberian and Latin American Cultural Studies from Birkbeck. I am currently finishing a PhD in Latin American Studies (Film and urban space).

I have taught Spanish ever since coming to the UK and I am certified by International House London as a teacher of Spanish for Adults; I am also a Seasonal Lecturer of Spanish at the University of London and a guest lecturer in film and politics. I have had a broad employment experience but teaching is my passion.

Aside from my tuition and academic involvement I am a published author, both in Spanish and English, a father, a yoga practitioner and crazy about literature, philosophy and film.
