Gerard Rundell

I'm a freelance percussionist working in London. I graduated with a BMus (1st Class Hons) from Goldsmiths College University of London and an MMus (Distinction) in percussion/timpani from the Royal College of Music. I have worked on the West End with shows including The Snowman and the London Children's Ballet as well as playing with various Orchestras around London. I was Principal Percussion for the London Sinfonietta Academy and have player with the LPO future firsts.

As a teacher I have worked in schools around London as well as teaching privately. I was a tutor for the Musicians of the Future scheme through RCM Sparks which included teacher training and assesment.

I keep lessons relevant and tailor made to students. If there's a tune they want to learn I'll transrcibe it and get them playing along to recordings or learning pieces they love.
