Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Gina has traveled the world, including India, Thailand, Nepal and the U.K. to train and practice her love for yoga.
Gina initially discovered the therapeutic benefits of yoga when it helped her overcome Rheumatoid Arthritis of the lower back. Gina believes yoga is beneficial to everyone, of all ages and abilities.
Gina’s enthusiasm and warmth, motivates and encourages her students to make personal choices in their yoga practice and develop skills to help them become attuned to their bodies. Gina’s inspiration as a yoga teacher is to lead her students to discover new physical awareness by focusing on the integration of breath with movement, to move beyond the mind and connect with their inner silence and to practice stillness in each asana (posture), creating a sense of peace and well-being.
Gina is also a Certified Practitioner in the Art of Thai Massage and Indian Head Massage. Gina’s experience as a massage therapist and yoga teacher complement one another, which enables her to help others live a positive and healthy lifestyle and to restore and maintain vitality.
Gina is qualified to teach Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Laughter Yoga and Kids Yoga.

Pure Yoga Bliss with Gina
Gina's Hatha yoga class is open to all levels. The classes will strengthen, stretch, tone and relax your entire body. Whether you are trying to get in shape, cope with tension from the office or relieve the tightness in your body from sports, Gina's yoga class can benefit you.
Hatha yoga is the classical form of yoga postures and breathing that revitalizes the body physically and mentally. It is an uplifting practice that increases muscle tone, improves flexibility and concentration, detoxifies the vital organs and allows you to relax deeply.
We will explore a different sequence each week allowing you to work on alignment or the form of each pose. Modifications are given for more challenging postures. Each class is balanced to give you a full body workout, flowing from one posture to the next while focusing on the breath. You will leave feeling refreshed and renewed.
