I'm predominantly a prose writer (currently working on a novel), which is my most enjoyable genre, although I also have skills in poetry and (less so) script-writing. My work has appeared through various media, including print, film and performance. I've been short-listed for the Bridport poetry prize and long-listed for their short story prize.

I run small, informal classes, designed to help people develop their creative writing skills (from beginnners onwards) and gain confidence to free up their imagination. Emphasis is on learning in a supportive, friendly environment. I'm really pleased to say I was once described as the "tutor with the X-factor" and I work hard to maintain that.

I also offer a proof-reading and editing service for those needing help with their dissertations or theses. For small businesses, I write website copy (both from scratch and as rewrite/refresh) and SEO articles to improve Google page rankings. I also deliver corporate in-house creative writing workshops for staff.

My own revamped website is currently very much under construction, but is beginning to give a flavour of what I offer.
