I'm mainly a fiction writer, although I am also skilled in poetry and script-writing. My work has appeared in print, on screen, and in performance. I've been Highly Commended for the Bridport Poetry Prize 2016 and short-listed for their short story prize.

I run small, informal classes, designed to help people develop their creative writing skills (from beginnners onwards) and gain confidence to free up their imagination. Emphasis is on learning in a supportive, friendly environment. I was once described by the WEA as the "tutor with the X-factor" and I work hard to maintain that.

I also offer a proof-reading and editing service for those needing help with their dissertations or theses. For small businesses, I refresh website copy and write SEO articles to improve Google page rankings. I also deliver corporate in-house creative writing workshops for staff.

My own website is about to have a completely new look and will be up and running by autumn 2018.
