Jack Hawkins

I read Jurisprudence at Balliol College, Oxford, graduating in 2007 with 1st Class Honours and the Gibbs Prize for highest achievement in Contract, Tort, Land and Trust Law examinations.

After leaving university I studied acting at The London Academy Of Music and Dramatic Art. I have worked regularly in film and theatre, touring internationally with Cheek By Jowl and playing Hamlet in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead in the West End. I have also worked as a director, winning a nationwide film-making competition and running workshops and directing shows at teacher a local theatre school.

I'm based in North London and specialise in helping children working towards their 8+, 11+, and 13+ exams in English and Maths. I put a strong emphasis on confidence training and a good mental approach - both to the immediate work in hand and the career of study ahead.

I'm experienced in both one-to-one tuition and classroom environments. In all my work place a strong emphasis on good communication (whether its for telling a story in a play, or interviewing for a new school).
