Jane Anderson-Brown

I am a qualified and experienced teacher and performer (Masters Degree in Music and Qualified Teacher Status). I have enhanced CRB clearance and work regularly in schools, both primary and secondary, where I mix singing and instrumental lessons with whole class teaching. Past students have achieved excellent exam results and some have gone on to study at major conservatoires and theatre schools. I sing professionally (Soprano) and for local charities, mostly classical music, but also including popular jazz standards.

I direct choirs and run workshops and masterclasses. I have recently been working with Teignmouth Community Choir and have conducted them in a number of performances including a performance of "Powers of Ten" by David Haines at the British Science Festival in Birmingham in September 2010.
