Drum Lessons/Drum Teacher (First Lesson Free!!!) (Sandy, Draper, Salt Lake City)

First Lesson free with no commitment!!! Just mention this ad.

I offer weekly private tutoring at rates of $40 per hour, or $20 per half-hour, with locations in Sandy, Draper and Salt Lake City. I offer instruction in a variety of styles, including rock, funk, jazz, classical, and rudimental drumming. I’ve developed a fun and exciting curriculum that emphasizes teaching what each particular student is interested in, while simultaneously helping them develop good technique and reading skills.

I am a patient teacher and have a lot of experience teaching children as young as four on up to older adults. For the beginner students who don’t have their own drums but are interesting in trying out the instrument I provide rental drum sets for $20 a month!

As a fourteen-year drumming professional in both performance and education, I have toured Europe and performed with such talented musicians as Grammy Award-winning Kelly Eisenhower. I am currently a senior at the University of Utah, working towards a Bachelor’s in Jazz Performance. I have studied with Kelly Wallis (owner of Back Beats Drum Shop,) George Brown, and Doug Wolf (both of the Utah Symphony,) and am currently enrolled in the studio of Jay Lawrence, one of the most highly acclaimed drummers in Utah!

Open time slots are filled on a first come first serve basis, so please call, email, or check out my web page for times and let me know when you’d like to give it a try.
