Music performance

I have played in various music groups since I was a young girl and would love to inspire others in the same way that I have been inspired by my teachers. At University, I was a keen player in several touring orchestras including Film Orchestra, Wind Band, and both Contemporary and Classical orchestras. I was also in a flute trio which regularly performed and busked in the town of Chichester. I have recently been successful in auditioning for the London Symphony Chorus who performs in the Barbican, London. I have also sang in choral, theatrical, gospel and contemporary choirs and really believe that music brings people together. I have additionally facilitated vocal, percussive and song-writing music workshops with children in London and Chichester, and also have conducted a music workshop in a young adults hospice in Winchester. This shows my commitment to equal opportunities and a desire to have fun with people of all backgrounds. I have experience of conducting and enjoy working on a 1-1 or group scale, whichever is more appropriate for the pupil. I am always up for a challenge! For example, I have taught a violinist and learnt the French Horn over my three-year-degree! Learning music can motivate you in so many other areas, so if you have a desire to achieve then I want to hear from you!
