Jill Sharp
I've worked as a tutor and lecturer for many years, and have also published poetry and prose. My book, 'Written in Stone', was published by English Heritage in 2005 and appeared in paperback in 2007. I've also been a regular reviewer for the online British Theatre Guide.
As a mature student I achieved a distinction in my masters degree in Modern English Studies, at Queen Mary College, University of London. I enjoy working with groups and have long experience of individual tuition, particularly with learners who are returning to study.
I teach classes in literature and writing skills, both creative and academic. I am also an effective tutor of maths to GCSE.
I feel my strengths are enthusiasm and the ability to nurture and motivate learners at all levels of achievement.

I would normally expect to book in blocks of 6 sessions, payable either in advance or at the commencement of each session - but terms are negotiable. 24 hours notice of cancellation/postponement needed, or full fee will be payable for that session.
