A professional soprano, Joanne recently completed a MMus with Distinction at the Royal Northern College of Music. Previous to this she received a PGDip from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a BMus(Hons) from the University of Glasgow.
Over the last 10 years Joanne has maintained a busy private teaching business, working with child and adult beginners to advanced students. She has prepared many students for ABRSM and Trinity College London Exams, as well as GCSE and A Level music exams, with a 100% success rate.
Joanne teaches the following instruments/styles:
Voice (Classical, Musical Theatre, Popular) - Beginner to Advanced
Piano - Beginner to Intermediate
Theory - Beginner to Advanced
In addition to her university qualifications, Joanne has ABRSM training in vocal and piano tuition, and is a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians. She has a current full CRB check and public liability insurance.
Having just relocated to London, Joanne can be flexible with regards to lesson times. Both day and evening times are available, and she is willing to teach at her home or a student’s home, subject to discussion. Joanne is happy to chat with you to discuss your options further.

I teach singing/music theory/musicianship at my home. I may also be able to come to students home, subject to discussion.
I can teach piano at students home only (price is inclusive of travel costs).

As I have just relocated to London I can be quite flexible with regards to lesson day/times. Both daytime and evening lessons are possible Monday-Thursday. Daytime only on Friday. I am also available to teach during some of the school holidays.
