Joe Egan

Hello! My name is Joe and I am a professional guitar teacher based in Nottingham. I teach students of all learning abilities, helping students on both the electric and acoustic guitar to develop rapidly through individually tailored guitar lessons.

I teach the majority of my guitar lessons from my teaching space in central Nottingham (11 Broad Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AP), however, I also offer a small number of mobile guitar lessons as well. This means that students can learn to play the guitar in the comfort of their own home should they wish to (subject to my teaching schedule).

I teach students from the ages of 6 upwards, including many adults learners, covering a wide range of different musical styles. As a guitarist in my own right, I really enjoy playing jazz music, drawing on the many different rhymic aspects of jazz as well as some of the faster lead guitar riffs.

I currently charge £15 per half hour and £25 per hour for lessons. Using my many years of teaching experience to create courses of lessons that are ideally suited to each on of my guitar students.
