Joel is both a theatre-maker (actor, director and workshop leader) and a Jewish educator.

He has an MA in Applied Drama from Goldsmiths, and delivers freelance education and theatre projects both within and beyond the Jewish community.

Recent clients include Streetwise, Tribe, G-dcast, West
London Synagogue, Immanuel College, King Solomon School, Spanish &
Portuguese Synagogue, Noam Camp, BBYO & Tender.

He is also a regular Jewish studies tutor for Bar Mitzvah, and is the only UK teacher trained in and using Storahtelling's unique dramatic approach to this work. See www.storahtelling.org for more.

In addition, Joel teaches personal and academic organisation to individuals, using David Allen's 'Getting Things Done' system.
