Jorge Antonio Soler Sanz
I am a Spanish national with a Ba + MPhil degree. My main area subject is Philosophy, but I can teach a variety of subjects at a GCSE level.
At this point in my life I am interested in after school workshops where I can work with students at a different level. The main idea is to give students extracurricular support to cover those areas not taken care of at school. If we are to empower students to be able to produce with less government support, we need to give them the tools necessary to take calculated risks in life and safely relate with other areas of experience.
The two main key areas in which student require support are "economics" and "citizenship". My main objective is to set up small workshops to teach students the basics of Business Finance and British Law (equity law, common law, branch law, etc.). My approach to this is that of the Austrian School of Economics and its praxeological method. Here, students will learn how to effectively save their money for the future and be able to work and produce on their own.
