Peruvian Salsa is danced on one and shares its basic step with L.A. Salsa, but it doesn't include as many spins as the other types of Salsa. Ladies can dance wearing a butterfly skirt; men tend to have a flamenco-like posture throughout.
THURSDAYS IN BISPHAM (6-7pm)
If a are a complete beginner, please visit the website before attending:

and come along at 5.45pm.
SUNDAYS IN BLACKPOOL (6-8 pm)
Beginners: 6.00-6.55
Improvers: 7.05-8.00
Peruvian Salsa shares the same basic step as L.A Salsa and is danced on one. There aren't as many spins as in other types of Salsa but there are a lot of flirtatious looks, sexy walks and plenty of hip movement. Eye contact is very important as well as the understanding of the message of the dance: It is about a man who is flirting with a girl he fancies , hence the eye contact. The role of the man is to make the girl look good, provide a clear lead and be in overall control.
