The impulse to study philosophy is one which is driven by an innate desire for a search for the truths that underlie our everyday experience. By reflecting on the enduring aspects of existence we learn to guide ourselves and contribute towards society.

I can offer tutoring in philosophy through study sessions involving one-on-one or group reading sessions of a range of philosophers. My lessons will teach how to understand the philosopher, the social context in which he or she was writing and the picture of the universe, society and the individual that the philosophy paints.

Philosophers that we could study or the classics, Plato, Aristotle, the Stoics philophers or the tradition, such as Locke and Hume, the German tradition, such as Kant and Hegel or the more modern existentialists. Each of these schools of philosophy have their own insights to offer which have nurutured generations on their wisdom.
