I am a patient and friendly recorder teacher with experience of teaching all ages from Early Years to Adults. I am happy to discuss your specific requirements for lessons, groups tuition or workshops.
I teach the Recorder, Music Theory and Chamber Music Coaching to all ages and levels of experience. My particular focus is Early Music. I am also available for workshops on the recorder or group coaching.
I teach all ages from early years children, using the Suzuki Method to adults, complete beginners to more advance players. If you are adult who wants to return to playing after a gap of many years I can support you with lessons until you feel more confident and wish to join a recorder group. For more advanced players I can hold regular lessons to improve technique and work towards concerts or exams.

Pimlico Recorder Classes
These friendly Recorder Ensemble classes are held from 6.30pm - 8pm on Tuesday evenings at Holy Apostles Church Hall, Cumberland Street, London SW1.
Additional classes on Recorder Technique are held from 8pm - 9pm following the ensemble session.

We are a small group of adults, playing a wide range of music in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere under the guidance of a tutor. As this is an intermediate level ensemble, a reasonable standard of technique and sight-reading is expected - together with the ability to play one-to-a-part from time to time.
