Recent feedback:

"I've thoroughly enjoyed working with you Karen. You are a great teacher, very honest and you helped me get out of my own way and embrace the lack of control + have more of a crazy spree! I hope to see you soon! Good luck with everything - Grace Lewis.

"Enjoyed how to understand and play the joke and the comedian's logic. I found it very inspiriting how positive you were and how wonderfully funny you were when you were showing things. You made me remember how much I love comedy. Thank you!"- Zvezdi

"Karen thank you so much for your guidelines and help. I absolutely enjoyed working with you. What I really liked was exploring our creativity, just letting loose and trusting our spontaneity. You gave us a lot of support which creates a great environment for us/me to have the guts to fail and learn. Your positivity is inspiring." - Katarina Lukshich

The comedy course was brilliant!
really inspiring and lots of fun.
We looked at so many fantastic ways into comedy and what makes something funny.
Most definitely would like more of these classes, as there is STILL so much to explore.
Thank you Karen!

The comedy course has been wonderful and I really enjoyed each class.going into the class I wasn't sure what to expect
but the sort of pressure etc be funny was immediately dispelled.
All of the games and exercises were so helpful.

These few sessions have been so brilliant
and I've found all of it so interesting and enjoyable.
This is something I want to pursue and will hopefully see you again soon.

feedback 2013:

"I don't think I can fault the lessons we've had! The structure, content, and the way in which they were taught was exceptional! The Lessons were fun from start to finish no matter wether or not you were active in a scene or an audience member! I learnt a lot from the lessons even though we didn't have long! I really hope the school brings you back for more work and if not, I want to work with you again in another forum!

"VERY informative and interesting throughout. HONEST and constructive feedback throughout. Always felt engaged and personally spoken to. Like a 'slice' of the industry!!"

"Fun, exciting and enjoyable lessons. Great to work with real scripts and you were very considerate and attentive in your teaching. Hope to work with you again, thank you :)"

"Very useful and eye opening. The warm up games were brilliant. Lovely to be taught by someone who has experienced it all first hand"

"I really enjoyed the two lessons we got. From having pretty much no experience of comedy camera work, I really feel like I've learned a lot! The games helped me feel secure and working with comedy scripts and being given direction was even better. I now feel a lot more comfortable. 10/10"

"Really enjoyed the two sessions. The (exercises) raised my energy and helped me to gel with the group. Karen was warm and put everyone at ease and explained a lot of theory which was relevant. It would be good to have follow on sessions. great fun and good stress relief. :) "

"Found the games and activities enjoyable and and enjoyed suggestions of how to use humour and bring it into everyday life. Realized that life doesn't have to be so serious and to actually take time out to "lighten up" and enjoy myself more"

"I loved the explanation of comedy as a phenomenon that we don't often think about or disregard as unimportant. i will take away the idea that comedy is not only OK but absolutely necessary to stay healthy and help others to stay healthy too"
