Kat is a qualified classically trained pianist; she graduated with distinction from the National Conservatoire in Athens, Greece and then continued with Christopher Elton, Head of Keyboard at Royal Academy of Music in London. She has performed extensively solo, now composes and performs her own material. She currently teaches privately from her studio and also at East London Piano (www.eastlondonpiano.co.uk)
Her pupils have been consistently successful the ABRSM piano exams and she is also available as accompanist for ABRSM/Trinity Guildhall exams - all levels. She teaches classical piano with emphasis on strong repertoire and aural/sight-reading, but also covers jazz and contemporary and can provide advice with song writing/arrangements/theory etc and general musicianship.

Kat has experience teaching children with learning difficulties and adults of all abilities and ages , including professional musicians and adapts her approach and style to suit her pupils' individual needs.
