Since a very young age I’ve always loved cake!
My creative side first came out making mud pies and rose petal perfume in the garden, but I soon progressed to helping my mum and grandad bake and decorate cakes in the kitchen. During these happy childhood times, I learnt some of the best cake baking and decorating tips that I still swear by today.

I love nothing more than the delicious smell of freshly baked cupcakes. I love their soft and fluffy texture. And I love making each cupcake look beautiful. But most of all I love seeing the smiling faces of people enjoying my cupcakes!

Kimmy Loves Cakes started in 2009 with a charity market stall in Bewdley. It was obvious that I wasn’t the only one who loved cake so in 2010 I decided to leave my job as a senior forensic analyst. After working on some of Britain’s most notorious crimes, I now get to spend every day doing what I love most - spreading a little cake love!
