Linda Gruet is currently a tutor of fashion design in the National College of Art and Design (NCAD-CEAD), the Grafton Academy of Dress Designing and City of Dublin VEC.

Beginners Classes - Beginner’s classes provide full understanding of the body as a 3-dimensional shape. Bodice and skirt shapes are draped on the real body to achieve a perfect fit. Each participant will have a perfectly fitted block pattern for their own body and the knowledge to develop new styles using the draping technique.

Advanced Classes - Advanced classes encourage the use of draping during design development phase as well as a method to obtain a pattern that can be graded for commercial use in the fashion industry. Draping techniques of sleeves, collars, tailored jackets and trousers are the focus of these classes.

Classes run for 20 weeks starting in the September term. Price of 230 Euro is subject to changes by City of Dublin VEC.

Private Classes - Private classes on a one-to-one basis or for small groups are available on request.

The class content can be arranged to suit the student’s needs. Subjects offered:
