I taught Creative Writing at Kingston University as part of my MA, MFA and PGCE. Publications include several short stories in magazines all over the world. Tuition can be via correspondence or one-on-one sessions.
I've taught guitar professionally for eight years. Lessons are tailored to individual students' wants. Many enjoy progressively learning favorite songs. Some students enjoy learning techniques from classical guitar, which translate easily to rock, blues, or anything else. My goal as a teacher is to improve overall skill, while providing whatever method of learning the student finds best. For most, guitar is about fun, so that's the atmosphere I provide.
As I was a tutor for children with Autism until becoming a full-time writer, I have a CRB certificate.
I usually tutor from my home, but will travel short distances. I also provide service via correspondence and/or skype.
Guitar tuition:
£25 per hour or £15 per half-hour
Creative Writing:
£30 per hour or £20 per 2,000 words via correspondence.
