Inspired by the close up patterns and forms of nature, which provide an endless source of discovery.
I specialise in detailed Botanical/Natural
History illustration. Media include watercolour,
acrylics, coloured pencil and pen and ink,
with mixed media for my more interpretive
textural work.

I have been running ongoing local day classes in botanical/flower painting, animal and landscape painting in the Scottish Borders throughout the year for over seven years. These are kept small and informal, catering for beginners and the more experienced.
