I am a Bristol based teacher and performer. dancing Arab Egyptian Dance since 1991. My early, ongoing training was with Wendy Buonaventura and Jacqui Jamal. I trained with Amel Tafsout, and attended workshops with great artists such as Hossam and Serena Ramzy, and Maria D`Silva, Yasmina of Cairo, Sarah Malik, Nawarra Dancer. . Other teachers have been the Arab people. I have lived with Arab people in an Arab country and, never tire of the ambience that comes with an Arab women "get together".

In my classes I offer posture and technique: these are the building blocks. The classes are fun, and women can develop at their own pace.

Group Classes

Belly Dance Arab Egyptian

Arab Egyptian Dance is a great way to get fit, have fun and learn a new skill.
For women of all ages, shapes and sizes. Suitable for absolute beginners and those with some experience.

A long skirt and a scarf to tie around the hips will enhance the look and feel of the dance but, comfortable, non restrictive clothing such as T shirt and tracksuit bottoms is fine.
The dance is done in bare feet or soft dance shoes.

Come and enjoy dance from Egypt and North Africa.
