I am a friendly, experienced and qualified music teacher based in Sheffield.

I teach Electronic Keyboard, Music Theory, Saxophone and Flute up to Grade 8 and teach Clarinet and Recorder to beginners.

- All ages from 8 to 80 welcome.
- Learn to read music and/or play by ear.
- Listening skills and sight reading practice built into lessons.
- Prepare for exams with either ABRSM for Woodwind or Trinity Guildhall for Keyboard.
- Or choose your own repertoire.

I am a member of the Musician's Union which provides public liability insurance and I also hold an enhanced disclosure certificate.

Aimed at: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

I charge £20.00 for a half hour 1-2-1 lesson. Fees are payable on a pay as you go basis for the first few weeks and thereafter are by monthly Standing Order.

If you decide to take up lessons on a permanent basis I will ask you to sign a standard Musician's Union teaching contract each term. The cancellation period for both parties is 4 weeks. If you need to cancel a lesson I require at least 24 hours notice, otherwise the fee will be forfeit. Lessons cancelled with more than 24 hours notice can be rescheduled for another time, or we can make up the time by having two 45 minute lessons.
